More on this when I find time, but we looked very briefly at Adobe Spark for creating fancy web pages, but also telling video stories and making quick meme-type photos.
We also briefly checked out Freeplay Music, where you can find tons of free* music for school projects. The killer feature (in addition to being able to search by feeling, style, or tempo) is the "cut downs" available for most tracks—songs reduced to self-contained units, some as short as 10 seconds. These are great when you need a short music clip that has an actual ending and doesn't just cut off awkwardly where you had to chop it to fit.
*Free applies to personal or classroom use. Anything else, and you'll need to look at their licensing, which is still reasonable!
