There are a host of flashcard applications out there, but we looked at three or four in class. Each has slightly different features, strengths, and weaknesses, so if you’re determined to use a digital flashcard app, you might want to check out several and find the one you like best.
(Some have free and premium levels, as well, so if you’re looking for something free, pay attention to which features are available at each level. I’ll try to summarize below, as well, if I can.)
Already in a class that requires you to make paper flashcards? You can still go digital—reproducing your flashcard set in an app won’t kill you, and kind of forces you to look through everything again, which is really the point of all this anyway, right?
In any event, here are the ones we looked at in class:
