This clip has been making the rounds lately, and it’s pretty amazing—it’s a performance by Hungarian artist Ferenc Cakó at the opening ceremony of SICAF 2003 (Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival). He draws everything with sand on a light table, using just his hands to create the shapes. It’s especially cool how he transforms parts of one picture into another…eh, you’ll have to watch to see what I mean.
